Why is it that a good, solid, free reporting software for AdSense can’t stick around for more than a fortnight? At least when one used to come along, it would just die out gracefully, and nobody could find it anymore.

Now the reverse has happened, AdSense Logger, finished in 2005, is a working, usable application that you can install on your server to give you ALL kinds of reporting about your AdSense performance, but then the designer(s) that made it UPGRADED it and started charging for their new service!

Too late, they made the mistake of offering it out there as a GNU (Open source) product first, so I’m afraid a bunch of cheapskates like myself are just going to have to use this free version, as it is far better that any other free AdSense tracking software programs out there. Sure, users of this script won’t get support for this product, but they also won’t have to pay for it. Unlike their new, $67 version called RevenueMonitor. Don’t get me wrong, they upgraded the functions and services with the price, quite a lot, but who here doesn’t want to start with the free version first, may I see a display of hands?

I thought not. 

It’s only fair to warn you that the main drawback to using this free software is that it is tricky to install on your server. If you are familiar with some PHP, you should be ok, otherwise have someone else install it for you, as the original publishers of it aren’t going to install it for you inexpensively.
