CamStudio updated: The Internet Marketer’s Version

This is one of the greatest content creators to ever be released to the public… Free or otherwise!

If you’ve ever seen the price tag for CAMTASIA screen-to-video software, made popular by super-affiliate and one of my favorite guru role-models John Reese, then you know that it’s obviously superb software… But one that only the already-successful can afford.

Little did the Internet marketing crowd know that Camtasia was based off a 1991 GNU (Open-source) software project called CamStudio that had two fatal flaws, making it useless for our needs.

CamStudio IMV

First of all, CamStudio didn’t play nicely with Firefox. (Pardon my pun.) Secondly, it had the misfortunate problem we couldn’t deal with of not being able to redirect the watcher to a website link of our choosing when the film ended… What marketer would want to show a movie and then NOT have it re-direct the watcher to our website?

That’s why CAMTASIA got built, but unfortunately for us little guys, they charged outrageous fees for anyone to use it!

Fast forward to the Fall of 2006: CamStudio is finally updated to COMPLETELY FIX those two problems. It doesn’t have some of the nicer features that you pay a lot extra for in Camtasia, but that costs $300, and this one $10.

Guess which one I use?

Even though this is a GNU product, there is a great instructional PDF and a reseller’s page in this package if you’d like to resell it as an inexpensive package with bonuses & support or upgrades.

It sells elsewhere for $10, (and for $300 in even other places…) but naturally you can have it for FREE here at the Home Biz Factory!
