Seller of Master Resell Rights products

Pros:

Lots of great, cheap products for you to sell at unbelievable markup prices. The sales copy is usually even written for you already!

Cons:

You’re always in a direct competition, where every second matters, with others just like you. Email list building is a paramount need here too.

Skills and tools needed:

MRR product sellers have the same basic skillset and toolkit as a ‘Super-Affiliate’ does, they both need to build up a newsletter list, make product websites, and sell other people’s products through them. However, the MRR product salesman differs in that he or she usually receives the sales copy page to plug in his or her Clickbank or Paypal details into, and then they sell it from their own website.

Naturally, website building and promotional skills will be needed, but the really successful MRR product sellers usually have a central website on a topic closely related to a central theme of MRR products, and then give stuff away there to entice surfers to join their newsletter list.

Again, like Affiliates, the tools needed for this Assembly line will be many. You’ll need a hosting server that you can send large newsletter lists from regularly or at least a separate newsletter mailing service & server. (That will cost a bit more money, of course.) Plus, you’ll need Paypal & Clickbank accounts, a website, possibly a forum &/or blog, on-site scripts, and lots of other extras that help you drum up targeted traffic. There will be a lot of tech and even law to learn with this choice, but at least we’ll be here to give you these free tools and teach you how to use them.

Description of an MRR Salesperson:

A person who sells Master Resell Rights products is simply someone who is buying an informational product of some kind, such as software or an ebook, that the original author gave up the copyrights to. That means that if you’ve gotten your hands on it somehow, you’re allowed to sell it and keep all the money you sold it for. Naturally, this makes the markup really high, so almost any sales are profit.

There are multiple ways of selling MRR products, such as selling them in an eBay store, or as single auction items. But one unusual benefit of most MRR products is that the original author, planning to sell the Master Rights, also included with his product a Salespage website, already constructed for you and ready to go. This way, they feel they can sell the MRR product for more knowing that they’ve already done the hard work of selling for you… You’d simply unzip the website, copy and paste in your payment details and any personalizations that you’d care to make, and upload it to your server… Boom, you’ve got a complete storefront selling this product for you, and all you need to do is drive traffic to it to make some good money.

It’s important to note that the most likely place for a MRR seller to obtain the MRR products is from a subscription service that will typically cost somewhere between $20 and $97 US, per year… That subscription will give them access to hundreds or even thousands of MRR products they can sell in the same manner.

Lifestyle of an MRR Salesperson:

The lifestyle of an MRR seller is unusual in that you’ll constantly be trying to be the first to announce a new product. So the moment a new MRR product is released to your membership site, you have to immediately download it, customize it, make the website for it, and announce it to your list as fast as possible... Because all of the other members of your membership site will be doing the same thing, and you might be sharing customers in your lists.

Since all of these products are actually useful technology or tactics themselves, it goes without saying that you’ll be constantly learning more and more about your niche and the tactics & technology to further yourself in it.

Many people may enjoy this lifestyle, but it’s not for everyone. In fact, it reminds me of being a Doctor who’s always taking classes and then his beeper goes off unexpectedly, all the time… & then he has to run.
